Privacy Policy
Last updated 31 August 2026
This policy covers the PaySFT website at paysft.in and the PaySFT Android app. It says what we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to get rid of it. If something here is unclear, write to support@paysft.in and ask.
The short version: we collect what an account needs and what an enquiry needs, and nothing else. We do not sell your data, we do not show advertising, and there is no third-party analytics or tracking on the site or in the app. PaySFT operators can see first-party product events (pages opened, cities viewed, sign-in, and enquiries) so they can run the product.
What we collect
If you sign in
Signing in is optional — the app and the site both work without an account. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google and store them so we can recognise you next time and show you your own profile.
What you set up in the app
The cities you follow, your buying timeline, the interests you pick during onboarding, and the news items you like. This is stored against your account so it survives a reinstall or a new phone. If you are not signed in, it stays on your device and reaches us only if you later sign in.
If you send an enquiry on the website
The enquiry form asks for your name and phone number, optionally an email address, and what you are looking for — city, locality and interest. We also record which page you sent it from, so a reply can pick up where you left off. This exists so a person can get back to you, and that is all it is used for.
How you use the site
We record first-party product events: which pages you open, which city or locality you look at, when you open or send an enquiry, and when you sign in. These stay in our database and are only shown to PaySFT operators. We do not send them to Google Analytics or any other tracker, and we do not store assistant question text against your account.
Questions you ask the assistant
To answer a question, the text of that question is sent to our AI provider. If the question needs current information from the open web, it also reaches a web-search provider. Those questions are not stored against your account, and your conversation stays on your device.
Your location
The app can ask for approximate location, and only for one thing: opening on the city you are actually in rather than a default. If you say no, the app carries on with a default city and nothing else changes.
Your location never leaves your phone. The coordinates are matched against a list of cities already on the device, and only the resulting city name is used. We never receive, store, or transmit where you are.
What we do not collect
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising.
- No third-party analytics or tracking cookies. The site stores a light/dark theme preference in your browser. Product events above are stored on our own servers, not in advertising cookies.
- No contacts, photos, files, messages, call logs or precise location.
- No payment details — there is nothing to pay for.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run PaySFT. They process data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.
| Provider | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Database, account storage and sign-in |
| Sign-in, when you choose it | |
| OpenRouter | Routes assistant questions to the AI model that answers them, and to web search when a question needs it |
| Vercel | Hosts the website |
Some of these operate outside India, so answering a question or signing you in can involve a transfer abroad. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
We will disclose data if the law actually requires it — a court order or a binding request from an authority — and not otherwise.
How long we keep it
- Account and preferences — until you ask us to delete the account.
- Enquiries — up to 24 months, so we can follow up and show what was agreed, then deleted.
- Assistant questions — not retained against your account.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can withdraw consent for anything you opted into. To do any of that, email support@paysft.in from the address on your account, or with the phone number you used on an enquiry.
Deleting your account
Use the account deletion form, or email support@paysft.inwith the subject “Delete my account”. Either way we will remove your account, your profile, your followed cities and preferences, and your liked news within 30 days, and confirm when it is done.
We check the request came from you before acting on it — otherwise anyone who knows your email address could close your account. And deleting the app from your phone does not delete the account on its own.
Security
Traffic to the site, the app and our database is encrypted in transit. Access to stored data is restricted per account by database-level rules, so one account cannot read another’s. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not hold payment details or government identifiers, which limits what a breach could expose.
Children
PaySFT is meant for adults making property decisions. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects what we collect or who sees it, we will say so in the app rather than relying on you to check this page.
